History

2019: Cooperation with SKB Kontur on development of the direction "Fundamental informatics and information technologies"

Under the agreement, the company will involve IT specialists in the development of educational courses and teaching at the university, provide financial support, and participate in the promotion of FIIT among applicants.

As part of the Digital Economy national project, it is required to train millions of specialists. `Digital` is included in everyday life, and this requires qualified specialists. On the basis of the Ural Federal University, a partnership program of both bachelor's and master's levels will be implemented. This once again confirms our fruitful cooperation and readiness to reach a higher level both in education and in applied research,

noted Victor Koksharov

According to Koksharov, UrFU is turning into the largest training center for IT specialists outside of Moscow and St. Petersburg. If in 2019 the university accepts 900 people for budget places in IT, then in 2020 it is planned to have more than 1,300 of them.

The FIIT program also provides for project-based learning - solving problems close to workers, and internships for students with possible subsequent employment at SKB Kontur and other IT companies in Yekaterinburg.

We have been cooperating with the university for more than 10 years. We conduct internships, schools of industrial development, we pay nominal scholarships to promising students and grants for teachers, we support competitions in sports programming and information security. And now cooperation goes to another level. Together, UrFU and SKB Kontur are reforming the direction `Fundamental Informatics and Information Technology`. This will allow us to train world-class developers, which are so necessary for the economy of Russia and the Urals,

They just took and smashed the dream ... and faith in humanity and hope))
This university has been my dream for a long time. For a long time I could not afford it, because ... expensive!
And now I'm a student! So what? As it turned out, my fictional world turned out to be like a house of cards: shabby old, still Soviet walls ... broken furniture, everything is miserable, an utterly bloated bureaucratic machine, when two employees of the same department cannot come to a consensus ... they recruit so many people into groups, that there are not enough desks and chairs... where does this money go? Education? nothing, couples about nothing, boring, stupid .... but, God, how much pathos .. and what especially caught my eye - the teachers. Gray people with unhappy faces... is this my dream? what can these unfortunate people teach me? After all, I have something to compare! This is not my first university! Where were the teachers who wanted to be like! Which shone and smiled, radiated kindness and participation to students, aroused a desire to study .... But I didn’t appreciate it then, I dreamed of Ural Federal University ... How wrong I was ... If UrFU is the best university in the Urals, then where -Let's go?! Is THIS the best we have? Run! Only to run away and not waste time and money, the mind tells me ... but what about the dream, the heart quietly asks? .... I know, the mind will win. always wins. But a little more he will let himself amuse himself with a dream ... Sincerely, still a student.

I am currently studying at this university. Promoted to the marrow, Ural Federal University, in fact, does not represent anything good. The university was created stupidly in order to row money.
The level of training is the same as in a regular sharaga.
Hostels are completely given to foreigners in order to maintain the rating international university. Nonresident students stupidly do not get rooms. Studying at 4 and 5 (mostly 5), playing for the national team of the faculty and the institute, I have no chance of getting a place in a hostel and am forced to rent an apartment and plow at work.
If you are an applicant - do not poke your head in this sharaga!

I would like to start with the fact that I study in building number 1, i.e. at the former USU. USU and UPI - after all, two around the world, although they are now united in UrFU. Therefore, I do not presume to judge the UPI. I write only about USU.
The building is located in the center of Yekaterinburg - opposite the Opera and Ballet Theatre, it is convenient to get there from anywhere in the city. There are many cafes, canteens, etc. nearby. True, all of them during the break (the big break from 13.50 to 14.30 - 40 minutes) are full of students, and it is often difficult to find a place or you have to stand in line for a long time, but nevertheless.
I am a 2nd year student on a budget form of education.
As for studying at the university:

Pros (regarding only my faculty):
- Highly qualified teachers
- Presence of media audiences
- Good repair (offices, restrooms, main hall)
- Cleanliness at the faculty (the floors are constantly washed and cleaned, and this does not bring any inconvenience)
- Availability of many scientific, artistic, etc. publications (library subscription, incredibly comfortable and cozy reading room with many sections and separate zones, equipped with computers with Internet access)
- There are also separate libraries ...
Show full...
and: history office, art history office, rare books department, etc.
- Temperature in the building: always warm. We don't wear jackets in winter, but in summer we can air the classrooms. Comfortable.
- The presence of two guarded wardrobes
- No bribes (I think that it should be written in pluses, because I see that many universities have such a problem). Never paid for an appraisal and no one ever asked for it.
- I consider it a HUGE ADVANTAGE that for almost 2 years while I am studying here, I have never heard that any of the teachers, methodologists, assistants or other workers not only insulted me or someone else, but even voices never did not raise! At the faculty, everyone treats each other with respect and warmth, and will always help with advice (for which special thanks to the inspector of the dean's office C.A.E., who has incredible patience, endurance and a big sympathetic heart!)
- ANOTHER IMPORTANT ADVANTAGE I consider the existing mentoring system: senior students help freshmen to get used to the university. A freshman who has come from school to university looks, as a rule, frightened, at least he is nervous for sure. The mentor helps him in everything: introduces him to the group, explains where the classrooms are, the restrooms, how to get to the library, how to find a teacher, what to do if he lost his student ID and many other things, and most importantly, the freshman sees a person next to him who has already gone through everything it, and therefore, experiences much less stress. I had mentors who were very helpful. And this year I myself am a mentor and still support my freshmen.

Minuses:
- Point-rating system, by which we study (this means that all your work and answers will be evaluated by points; the system does not always work properly, but, as a rule, all shortcomings are solved, and in the end there are no problems, but it takes away nerves and tires. In addition, in such a system, the motivation of a student is often not knowledge, but getting a high score)
- Dining room: long queues, sometimes you don’t have time for a couple because of this. Therefore, most of the students in our stream bring yogurt, apples, candy bars, etc. to the university with them.
- The building in which physical education takes place is not in building No. 1, and not even nearby, but close to the building on the street. Mira (i.e. go 6 stops, almost in a straight line, but you still need to go).

General information: since last year, physical education has been separate, in sections. Those. there is an opportunity to do athletics, swimming, fitness, health-improving physical (those who have health problems) (there are about 30 sections in total, if I'm not mistaken). But not always (and even often) you get to the wrong place. But in principle, everyone gets used to it over time.

I can say that I am generally very satisfied with the university. Our faculty has a Center for Contemporary Culture, where various exhibitions are organized (including by the students themselves). This is interesting! And it is very nice to see such an environment around you.

WHAT ABOUT HOSTELS.
I don't live in a dorm myself.
But two of my classmates are not local. They live in a hostel, no one kicks them out. They had to fill out some documents for renewal (I know all this, because the headman), everything was legal.

1) Hostels. As noted earlier, it is almost impossible to get a seat. But for some reason, no one talks about the main fun: they give a place only for a year. That is, even if, by hook or by crook, you achieve the coveted bed in a shabby hostel, with two showers (one for boys, the other for girls), in which the water does not drain and stands ankle-deep, as well as electronic stoves that work every other time - then take the coins 150 km away, where you come from, and then come back again, sit in a new room, buy a new refrigerator if your old one is stuck, as well as a closet, shelves and everything else. I had an attitude of "even a flood after me", and others too. You can’t leave anything in the room, because the commandant will throw everything away. Only foreigners are lucky (read Kazakhs, Dagestanis, Azerbaijanis and everyone else from the CIS).
In general, it is still not clear why foreigners live together with Russians. Don't get me wrong, I'm not against them, but a new hostel has been built for them. Especially for them! But no one in this hostel, at least out of 10, was not overpowered. And everyone says that there are no places, and foreigners have no right to be evicted.
At the same time, a girl wrote to me and asked me to agitate the guys and ...
Show full...
from my city to enter UrFU. Well, laughter and nothing more. There are no places in the hostel - so write. In my third year, I was forced to rent an apartment with the status of a low-income person. Thank you very much.
2) Education at a disgusting level. And yes, it's on the FTI. Of course, they don’t give a descent here, but knowledge too. A lot of teachers like their position, they just savor the fact that they are so smart and we depend on them. The load is unreasonably huge. I studied at the Lyceum, where the workload was also high. But there they taught me, and here ...
Almost all of my classmates have apathy, fatigue and depression. Most (myself included) want to drop out of school because it only eats up time and doesn't provide skills or employment.
In general, save your nerves.

What can I say about this university? One word comes to mind - sharaga.
I am a local and entered here, because the choice of universities in Ekb is not great. But this place lived up to my worst fears. Let's get down to business. 1) Teachers. Most of them are women over 55 years old, who clearly did not succeed in this life. Few of them have experience in the real sector and know their subject only from books (this is despite the fact that the Faculty of Economics). There are even those who force students to record lectures from dictation from slides without bringing anything of their own.
2) Curriculum. This is a bunch of disparate items that go for half a year. As a result of this approach, students do not delve into any subject. Often there are repetitions of what has already passed.
3) Students are diverse. There are both graduates of Yekaterinburg gymnasiums and people from the provinces whose education is of poor quality.
4) Session. For 4 years that I have been studying here, only one person was expelled from our group. Tests and exams are put down for everyone, you can even not learn anything.

This year my daughter entered the Ural Federal University in Oriental and African studies. The passing score for the budget was high this year, my daughter did not have enough points for the budget, so I had to go on a paid basis. As you understand, a paid basis is always a blow to the wallet of parents. We first found out the amount and were, to put it mildly, surprised: about 130 thousand for the year of study. The amount is still not small. But! Many thanks to Ural Federal University for such an innovation: if an applicant lacks 10 points or less, then a discount is provided, and this already pleases parents, since they will have to pay less. In my opinion, this is fair and just, because it's about three points!!! It's a shame! UrFU, to our happiness, has thought of everything in this regard, for which we, as parents, are very grateful! My daughter wanted exactly this specialty, so we did not consider others, where she would go on a budget. It is very important for me that the child himself likes his education, because otherwise the fathers and mothers may impose professions on their children sideways. There are so many cases when children leave institutes when they don't like it. And we are satisfied with everything, the university suits us in all respects. And most importantly - these are the daughter's burning eyes! She's interested! And we are calm! We would like to express our gratitude to the whole university for this!

I entered Urfa on a budget, inspired by the fact that I read about its prestige and coolness on the Internet and just wanted to go to the ECB. Only then came the realization of what difference prestige or not. The main thing is that valuable knowledge is given and students have an interest in learning, a craving to go to classes and listen to teachers. Unfortunately, I did not feel any of this. Disregard for the entire staff .. There are also enough problems in the hostel (the toilets are leaking, the stoves in the kitchen are broken) I just spent half a year of my life and decided to enter another university.

She graduated from the Institute of Physics and Technology this year. Four years of training passed like a week. The Institute left a lot of impressions and emotions, and most importantly - knowledge. During the training, I often caught myself thinking: why learn all this if the knowledge is not useful anywhere. After completing the internship, I realized that the university provides, firstly, a good base, and secondly, sufficient knowledge to cope with any task. Also, UrFU has a lot of opportunities for personal realization: a lot of creative teams, sports sections and scientific groups. In general, I can say that I will remember UrFU for the rest of my life, this is the merit of UrFU, the Institute of Physics and Technology, my native department of the FMPK and my favorite group.

This review will not be about study, because it varies greatly from institute to institute. This review is about social work with students.
First and foremost: hostels. The university attracts a huge number of first-year students with the sweet promise of "put everyone in a hostel!" But as soon as you finish your first year, you can say goodbye to the hostel and look for a rented apartment. Often, no one will even care about your income certificates. Because they settle mainly freshmen and foreigners (the latter are settled even with hellish academic failure and hellish behavior, because foreigners are a rating), the rest of the places are mostly occupied by so-called activists. In short, if you settle down, but with a creak and not immediately. There are exceptions (a slight dependence on your institute), but a huge part of out-of-town students, to put it mildly, stays on the street and beats all possible thresholds in pursuit of a place in a cozy student building.
This topic was raised many times, and it seemed to be well-known, but each time it was hushed up, especially violent ones were calmed down with handouts in the form of beds from the master's shoulder, but the problem remains and is aggravated every year.
At the same time, it is reliably known that the places occupied according to the documents are actually empty. For whom? And this is another conversation.

In short, if it is important for you to live in a hostel not only in the first year, choose another university. In terms of education, you will lose little by deleting UrFU from your list.

Good afternoon, I suffered for a long time, but today I will share information with you. To begin with, while we were studying, everyone frankly did not care about the fact that there were no desks and chairs on the floors. There is an auditorium for self-study but it is always closed. Only not long ago more or less repairs and a couple of chairs. But for what magnificent banquets, career spring, scientific conferences. Out of 100 students at such a conference, 30% will show really useful and interesting things (I'm not sure), but I'm sure that this is all window dressing. I had a case in the 3rd year, I came to the GUK to prepare for the exam. I went to the reading room, they didn’t let me in my outerwear, I went to the cloakroom and there they told me there was a conference today and the rector’s decree not to accept clothes from students. And they tell me to bring a paper that you really are going to the reader's room (who will give it to me) even if they didn't let me in. Swearing, okay, the guards, the normal men understood the situation and helped.

Now, perhaps about corruption, many teachers put triples for the bubble of no tea. The main corrupt official is G****. The price of the exam is 10 k. I was told that in the 90s and 2000s. He didn't even give out 500 rubles to a student for free. I also want to say about M******* when the head. chairs in plain text ...

om says that the university received money from the state for you. Now no one cares about you, is this generally normal in your opinion? Many teachers do not even want to tell the material, but there was a case when I asked a question on the topic and they called me a fool. You see, I'm asking stupid questions. What is it about this, please? I came to learn to learn from experience, by asking a stupid question once, I will understand how to ask it correctly next time. Not all of us are able to keep up with the team. But this does not mean that after graduation this student will be a bad specialist. To understand, I exaggerate, there is one who understood the subject but became conceited and did not listen. And the other does not understand, but he is interested and he tries. And who do you think will succeed?

I want to quote someone else's review so that the reader draws his own conclusions<<<Добрый день!

Well, perhaps about R ******, this man only laughed in pairs, he gave the material without explanation and abbreviations. When he writes something on the board, he does not wait for people to write off. Explaining this by saying that you should read it in books. Yes, I agree, but how then does this type of education differ from self-study. Yes, if you come to the course you are interested in and study there for two weeks. You will get more information than when no one cares at all, you only need money, and so that no one fucks them, they spread rot with a bunch of tasks, without explanation. I came to the university not to guess riddles in someone else's head. The example is very simple when a specific task is described in the ticket. And at the time of delivery, additional conditions appear. It is the same with the abstract of this teacher. If you have given the task to write an essay on a topic and say to use foreign literature, you must understand that the deadlines are tight and everyone’s knowledge of the language is different. 20 also didn’t go anywhere, but what killed me the most was that he only accepted information from certain sources. Just think for yourself that a student has nerves, they call for work or some kind of business trips. You have drawn up an abstract before the session, bring it, and after looking at only one page, he says that this is not what he wanted to see. Well, kindly form the right task. And then he sent me to redo it, but he did not give an explanation. I'm not the only one, it's a story with every group. And so every year.

The second such friend is M*****, but he demands at least on business, probably one of the few honest university teachers. And ***** is also a great man, he even wrote his manual so that students understand the material. He put his soul into it. And not like now, they just send you to the Internet, go read it, and then I’ll think about whether you read it. For the university, the student should be in the first place and the attitude should be human.

And the last thing: there is a rude person sitting at the Department of Physics in the GUK, who can simply show you an indecent gesture in the face. She did not want to work and was rude if a woman had any problems in her personal life. Give the person a vacation, if she is just such a person, then have a conversation. And after I decided to contact the rector, they sent me to my home and said such issues should be resolved at the department. That is, if a student is in a difficult situation, no one will ever help him. This woman slandered me and until I turned the conversation in a different direction and said that if they do not resolve this issue now, I will go to court. Okay, I'm harmful if a girl of the first year and a village, for example, naive, honest and modest, gets into such a situation. She will only cry into the pillow in the hostel.

P.S. I wanted to enter this university from the age of 6, I went to this for many years, tried to do the work myself, taught the material. And then just such an attitude you are garbage and others will take your place. I hope the relevant authorities will be interested in this message and resolve the issue. Oh, yes, the idea of part-timers is complete nonsense, yes, perhaps these people are specialists in their field, only the majority either do not want to or do not know how to teach. They have their own lives, children and dreams, they do not care about full-time and correspondence students.

Institute of Natural Sciences and Mathematics

Hello. I completed the first course of math-fur (as it is customary and customary to call it) in the direction of "Applied Informatics". It doesn't matter what direction you study, the requirements for all are the same. In order not to be expelled, you will have to study, study and study again, enjoying what you are doing, because there is no other way. Be prepared for a huge amount of advanced mathematics, which is not always easy, and programming, which takes a decent amount of time and sometimes pisses you off, but the responsive teachers are always ready to help, giving advice and answering your questions. Yes, you will have to plow a lot, and self-education occupies a large place, but believe me, it's worth it. All doors are open at the institute for the realization of one's potential and self-development: numerous special courses, paid internships, SKB-Kontur and Yandex schools, with which math-mech closely cooperates. You might think that the only thing students do here is study. You can't even imagine how the local people love to have fun and relax. Various events are held throughout the year, which are inaugurated by DPMM (Freshman's Day mat-meh ...

a), which lasts two months, where various quests, trips to a camp site, etc. await you, followed by Paphos Day, after the winter session, the famous ZMSh (Winter Mathematical School) awaits you, which has been gathering students and students for more than 20 years math-mecha graduates different years, And main holiday institute - DMM (Day of Mathematics and Mechanics), lasting a whole month and rich in various events. In general, as our dean Magaz Orazkimovich says, one must not only learn, but also live on mat-fur.

study, it is better to choose another direction. Sometimes the thought came to mind - why? .. But after two years since graduation, I know the answer for sure: to be an educated person (or at least a little closer to this high-profile title).

I studied from 2010 to 2014 at the Faculty of Philology of the Ural State University (RHF) (it was before the merger with UrFU, no one invited us to enroll at colorful events). USU has a good reputation in Yekaterinburg and the whole Urals, it is absolutely deserved, we had no doubts where to go.

For the first two years I studied at a paid department, after that I was transferred to a state-funded place for excellent studies (unfortunately, they could have transferred after the first, but it was the year of joining the UPI, and the new rules came into force. It was a shame, but does not detract university reputation).

All teachers of the Faculty of Philology are simply in love with their work. You can always come up after class, ask a question, come for a consultation, no one will ever refuse. It was really interesting. And this is a fundamental education that no one will take away from you (and after such an education you can master all the additional specializations yourself).

As for student events, we simply did not have time for this. On the other hand, they had their own internal, faculty ones, to which they were released from couples. They are even better.

There is the possibility of exchange trips to Budapest (so far only on the master's program, but the faculty continues to strengthen cooperation).

Students constantly participate in conferences, competitions for additional scholarships. Within the faculty there are annual competitions for the best literary translations, competitions for reading in a foreign language. Therefore, it was always possible to prove oneself, there would be a desire.

Guest lecturers from Great Britain and other countries came to our faculty, a writer from the USA gave a lecture.

The auditoriums are poorly equipped with technology, but there are several specialized auditoriums with computers and headphones. Such audiences, of course, are not enough for the department of foreign languages, but I hope that the leadership of the university will pay attention. But there has always been an opportunity to present your report on the projector and through the speakers.

I have always been distrustful of the dining room in the main building on Lenin Street, but there is a wonderful dining room on Turgenev Street, where not only students come, but also people working nearby.

And yes, the main thing for a philologist is a library! USU has a wonderful fund foreign literature and periodicals. We always took the latest numbers, for example, Time. There are books not only in English, but also in French, German.

I can't say enough about hostels. Previously, the plaster fell on the third floor, but recently it went into the alma mater - everything was repaired.

The only thing that has always been frustrating is the inability to change courses in the general cycle, like sociology, economics, political science, in which neither students show interest, nor teachers have an incentive to tell for an uninterested audience. BUT this is not a question of the university, but of the education system in Russia!

I’ll tell you about the Faculty of Chemistry of UrFU (IEN, Faculty of Chemistry) (more precisely, USU, since it is still felt that USU and UPI are different universities and, frankly, our teachers sometimes do not miss the opportunity to criticize UPI).
Studying is moderately difficult, sometimes they ask a lot, but it is quite possible to cope with the tasks. Teachers (not all, of course, there are unpleasant exceptions) are responsive, if you come up and ask something, they will help and explain. If you like chemistry - it will be interesting, if not - then no :)
So, quality education, professional and responsive teachers are here.
Quite a large percentage of deductions, so tune in to study. There are always two retakes, you can agree and retake more, but it's difficult, the dean's office is rather unresponsive to those who study poorly.
Now the building on Kuibyshev is being renovated, but most of the premises have already been renovated, so it’s nice to study (and warm! There used to be old windows and it was terribly cold in the classrooms, now this is not the case).
If this is important for someone - there is a good canteen with normal prices, you can eat normally for 100-150 rubles, you can just eat for 50.
Of the minuses - you have to go to physical education in another place (on Mira), as well as a hellish and insane medical unit, which each student will have to visit at least twice to undergo a medical examination.

Urfu has too many negative reviews here.
What can be said.
- First of all, a lot of money is pouring in here. Repairs, new equipment, appliances, infrastructure (cool canteen-libraries), and the like. This is all really there, which distinguishes URFU from hundreds of sharags, surviving with pennies from the scoop itself.
- Secondly, some faculties (and their departments) can really give you a decent education. Cool teachers, worthy scientific work, perspectives, etc. In HTI this is the department of organics, the Institute of Physics and Technology is also very good. I won’t speak for the rest, but the list can be continued a little if you wish, and in general, there are much more good (and even amazing) teachers than bad and “none”.
In general, the quality of education is at least average, although it sags at some faculties.

There are also problems, in particular with dormitories, which we have already written about here. But most of problems - these are problems common to all universities in Russia.

In summary: the university is not the best, not the top 5 in the Russian Federation, and maybe not even the top 10 (it depends a lot on the faculty you enroll in, ChemTech, for example, definitely the top 5), but still the place is pretty good.
And, of course, keep in mind that in the end, what kind of specialist you become depends more than 50% on you, and not on the university, wherever you go.

I am very glad that I chose this for my education. educational institution like Urfa: high-quality knowledge, interesting presentation of material, sympathetic and kind teachers. Separately, I would like to single out the institute high school economy and management: this is a place for creative, original and creative people), students receive here not only all the theoretical knowledge necessary for their future professional activity, but also a lot of practical skills (I was especially lucky with practice after the 2nd year - in a large bank). Interactive classes are constantly held with students, where they get acquainted with what they will need to do in real life at your workplace. Regular scientific conferences held by the university administration, as well as departments, exhibitions, trips abroad and within the country, student internship programs are far from all that UrFU students can offer) In general, I am satisfied with this university. She graduated in 2018 with a degree in International Management. I work for an international company and my employers are satisfied with my knowledge and skills acquired in Urfa.

P.S. If you are fine with foreign languages, then Vshem organizes various exchange programs to other countries, I think that this is very, very cool!!!

I dropped out of UrFU after the first semester, which I am glad about. Let's fast forward to another sad reality for a couple of minutes. at UrFU.
It all started with admission. I was sending documents from another city, there was not enough time left, and at that very moment, due to a large number applicants stopped working site. The problems didn't end there. There is no actual information on the website at the time of training. The schedule changed for several months, information about this was posted on a board in the main building.
Didn't you have time to take a seat in the long and narrow auditorium, which was loaded with more than a hundred people? Look for a bench and write on your knees in the hallway. You can sit on the floor. With such an anomalous length of the room, nothing could be heard even in the middle rows. The equipment of the university is not suitable for teaching. Strictly speaking, what can we talk about if the projector broadcasts the image into a corner under the ceiling so that pictures and lines of text are bent at any possible angles? It doesn't matter, however, even the most difficult subject, the anatomy of the central nervous system, had to be taken purely formally: they got themselves an album, redrawn the diagrams of the structure of the brain and showed it at the exam. The beauty. Most m ...

I was impressed by the teacher in the history of psychology, he also taught general psychology, which was led by someone else, you understand. This man, by the name of B*****, as it turned out, several years ago taught the subject at the faculties, for whom it was enough to know that the brain is in the head. Well, at his lectures we heard about the Strugatskys, Tolstoy, hieroglyphs and "warm atoms". I'm not sure that this is the place to be in our reality. You listen and forget that you came to teach psychology.
The obzh-woman teacher, who always suspected us of offending her, put pressure on pride, trying to convince that only ignoramuses could succumb to Navalny's manipulations. It seems that this is the main danger to life.
There was another teacher with a bias in business training. In short, she taught us how to study at UrFU. To be honest, at the end I stopped going to classes with full confidence that no one would move. And so it happened.
Due to the specifics of the faculty, it was necessary to work a lot in a team. However, the students quickly realized that in this place, under a lying stone, the water flows well, and I did the project, which was not preceded by any theoretical basis, alone. The topic of the work was the only one that I figured out during my studies there.
At the seminars we played games, took part in balloon pouring contests and so on. It was an invaluable experience and now I can definitely become the host of children's holidays.
Dormitories at UrFU are average, as throughout Russia, the stump is clear, the buildings are not the ones whose photos are on the official website (they are for foreigners, as I understand it), but ordinary five-story buildings, wooden floors, in some places linoleum. If you make repairs, the costs are reimbursed. The floors are clean.
