Channel One and the social network Odnoklassniki conducted a survey to find out which artists to invite to the New Year's "blue light". The voting leaders were Grigory Leps, Ani Lorak and the finalist of the "Voice" Nargiz. Producer Iosif Prigozhin believes that the opinion of the audience will help the channel in compiling the schedule for the New Year's broadcast, and artist Yuri Loza believes that the artists for voting were selected biased.

Users social network"Odnoklassniki" from October 11 to 30 could vote in the application "Your stars on the First" and choose the artists who will take part in the "blue light" on Channel One. The voting list included 60 of the most popular artists in Odnoklassniki, each user could choose three of them. In a separate field, you could add your artist, thus the list was replenished with ten more names.
According to the voting results, the top three included Grigory Leps, Ani Lorak and the finalist of the Voice show Nargiz Zakirova. Also in the top ten were Polina Gagarina, Ukrainian artists Alekseev, Svetlana Loboda and the pop group Artik & Asti, the Leningrad and Hands Up groups. Closes the top 10 prima donna Alla Pugacheva.
Sergey Zhukov from the Hands Up group told 360 that he was very happy that he was in the top ten voting leaders in Odnoklassniki.

The opportunity for viewers to choose artists for the New Year's show on Channel One last year was demanded in an online petition that collected 174,000 signatures. "Blue Light" in 2017 drew heavy criticism due to the fact that the same faces are shown on the screen every year.
It was decided to vote for the participants of the "blue light" in Odnoklassniki, because this social network is used by older people, who are oriented to the New Year's broadcast of Channel One, said General Producer Konstantin Ernst.

He believes that young people do not watch New Year's programs, not because it sucks, but because they celebrate the holiday in a different way - and there is no point in doing a radical youth show for Channel One. Judging by the data in the official community of Channel One in Odnoklassniki, 1.3 million people have registered in the voting application.
Voting on the Internet may have a slight error, but in general, the audiences of Channel One and Odnoklassniki overlap, says producer Iosif Prigogine. He was not surprised that the rating of artists was headed by Grigory Leps.

Prigozhin recalled last year's scandal, when Channel One was accused of new year's eve show the same artists. Such dissatisfaction is understandable, but it is important for the channel to get a rating, the producer explains. Voting in Odnoklassniki will enable Channel One to find out who to invite to the "blue light".

The publications of Channel One do not indicate how many artists from the list will participate in the New Year's program. It also does not say about the possibility of the channel to invite other artists.

One of the main anti-heroes of last year's petition, which, according to the results of voting in Odnoklassniki, entered the top ten. Then the singer herself told her fans that she did not need to be protected from spiteful critics, and producer Iosif Prigogine advised not to pay attention to "sofa critics."
Participants of the New Year's broadcast on Channel One will be chosen by viewers by voting on the Odnoklassniki social network. Using the Your Stars on First app, users will be able to select from a shortlist of up to three artists they want to see live on the night of December 31, 2017 to January 1, 2018.
Also available is the function to enter the name of another artist who was not in the list.
The shortlist of performers is based on the popularity rating of performers in Odnoklassniki. According to Dni.ru, the preliminary top 60 has already included such popular groups as Mushrooms, Time and Glass, IOWA, as well as Polina Gagarina, Ani Lorak, Irina Dubtsova, Mot and many others.
Some of the users expressed the hope to see TV presenter Olga Buzova on the stage of the New Year's light, and someone - the infamous heroine of the show "Let them talk" Diana Shurygina.
Channel One took a creative approach to preparing the New Year and, in cooperation with the Odnoklassniki social network, launched a new application, Your Stars on Channel One. This application can be found in the official Channel One group on OK. Users are offered a list of stars, potential participants in the New Year's spark.

The experiment was originally an idea CEO channel - Konstantin Ernst, which he shared at the beginning of this year, answering questions from viewers about the dominance of "the same persons" on the screens in live"Odnoklassniki".
Whether viewers will see the desired stars on their screens or not is an open question.

The public is also not sure if the idea is good.

Moreover, the choice was entrusted to those who are registered in the Odnoklassniki social network, i.e. those, in my opinion, who do not have particularly good taste (not about all “classmates”, this can, of course, be said, but still intellectually developed people with good musical and non-musical taste rarely register in Odnoklassniki, unless they register specifically just for this vote).

New Year's Eve on the First
The producer believes that they are trying to deceive the audience when they announce the voting for the artists who will perform at the New Year's Light - 2018. In addition, according to Fadeev, many of the names indicated in the rating will never appear on the air of the federal channel.
Due to the fact that the performance of the artists at the "New Year's light" last year was the reason for discussion among the audience: there was, where the audience turned to Konstantin Ernst with a request to change the transmission format, Channel One went to meet the audience and so that everyone could choose one or another artist, who will appear on the screen on New Year's Eve.
Let us add that Maxim Fadeev had previously expressed a similar idea. He called New Year's programs "plunging into hell" and said that television in Russia was too outdated. The producer promised to make his New Year's show "People's Light" in the future and also wanted the audience to choose the artists themselves by voting. By the way, it was Fadeev who was outraged by the innovation of Channel One. On his Instagram page, he smashed the idea and stated that many of the artists on the voting list would never perform on air.

The project covered a wide variety of audience segments, including young users: for example, 10% of the votes for their favorite artists were given by people under 18 years old, while about 50% of voted users were under 35 years old. Moscow became the most active region in terms of the number of votes: 15% of the votes were given by residents of the capital. Also, the artists received the greatest support from Krasnodar, Yekaterinburg and Novosibirsk.
Voting started on October 11 in the Channel One group on the social network. Users could choose three favorite artists from a shortlist based on the music preferences of the OK audience, as well as suggest one more artist from those who did not make it into the top 60. After two weeks of voting, the top 10 artists most frequently suggested by users were included in the main list.

Alla Pugacheva, around whose name spears broke according to the results of the last New Year's project, entered the top 10 most sought-after stars - we take off our hats, we hope, along with those who doubted this. In a word, we coincided in many respects, but somewhere we received interesting tips and we will be happy to invite artists who have not been involved in our broadcast before to participate in our New Year's project. It was important for us to give different people the opportunity to choose their favorite artists. The shortlist includes musicians who are popular with various segments of the audience: very young stars and already well-known participants in New Year's shows, rappers, rock musicians, and pop music performers.
