Devyatova Marina was born on December 13, 1983 in Moscow, in the family of an artist of the Choreographic Ensemble. Seeds of Dunaevsky Natalya Nikolaevna and People's Artist of the Russian Federation, performer of folk songs Vladimir Sergeevich Devyatov. Parents separated when Marina was five years old. Subsequently, Natalia married a second time. Marina had an excellent relationship with her stepfather. 
The grandparents of the future artist (on the maternal side) are natives of Ryazan who once settled in Moscow. Grandmother worked as a cutter, and grandfather was a trolleybus driver. As Marina recalled, it was at her grandfather's work that her vocal career began: a man took his granddaughter with him, and she announced stops and sang while the trolleybus was traveling along the route from Ivanovsky to Vykhino.
Like her older sister Katerina, Marina was an artistic child, so she was sent to a music school early (piano class). In 1999, 16-year-old Devyatova entered the Music College. Alfred Schnittke, and in 2003, after graduating, she became a student at the Academy. Gnesins.

Career
Since the early 2000s, Devyatova has often performed at music festivals and competitions, and in 2003 she became a laureate of the competition for young pop song performers Slavonic Bazaar.In the senior years of the Academy, the girl was invited to musical group"Indrik the Beast", the main repertoire of which was old Russian and Slavic songs in modern processing. When Ulyana was born, I realized that we need to unite all generations in one big house. Since my profession is connected with constant traveling, and I can only leave such a tiny girl with my mother, I can’t even think of any nanny. But there is very little space in my Moscow apartment with my husband: it was designed for the two of us and is an ideal place for two adult selfish people who live for themselves. The child does not fit in there. Therefore, we decided to move out of town, to a house that could accommodate all family members.
- Have you already experienced all the delights of life in the countryside?
It's still hard for me to get used to it. And by the way, it's good that I listened to the advice of my wise dad (singer Vladimir Devyatov. - Approx. "TN"). When my daughter was born and the question of expanding the living space arose, my husband and I began to think: should we buy an apartment or a house? Live in the city or on the ground? And dad said: rent a house for a few months, see how you feel there, and then decide.

And now we have been living in a wooden house for several months now, we have our own garden, a veranda, there is where to put the stroller. I am a child who grew up in the stone jungle, in an apartment on the 16th floor, at first I was even afraid of some features of life outside the city. For example, when some insects with large wings suddenly appear in the bathroom and start waving them. I must say that my husband has a taboo: he does not offend animals. None. Even insects. Therefore, when I see them in my bathroom, I immediately start shouting: “Lesha, if you don’t want me to kill this mosquito now, run quickly and save his life!” I'm not that principled. If a mosquito bites my daughter, then, of course, I will slap him instantly. But in general we are vegetarians and try not to harm anyone living. Lesha, for example, takes mosquitoes in his palm and releases them outside the house. They probably shout "thank you" to him in their own language. In general, our new life turned out to be full of surprises. But gradually we got used to it. Pluses were found instantly. First of all, silence. You fall asleep, and around the forest, nightingales - just some kind of fairy tale. Neither the rumble of cars, nor neighbors swearing behind the wall.
- Are you on maternity leave now?
My decree lasted three months. I left the stage a month before the birth, last time went out to the audience New Year. In principle, I could have continued to jump and dance quite calmly, but my fans cautiously began to hint: “Marinochka, you should lie down and relax. Save yourself!" And I listened to their opinion - I went to prepare for the birth of Ulyana. And three months later she was again on stage and gave a solo concert. But it was preceded by more rehearsals, so I probably spent a month and a half on a clean decree. To be honest, I didn't even want to go outside. When I just returned from the hospital, my mother cooked food, my husband brought it to me, and I only did what I fed Ulyana, improved our relationship with her, and it took all my time.
But even when my daughter was very tiny, I thought not only about her, but also about work - about a new concert program, which will be released on September 28 at the Helikon Opera Theater. This is a serious academic platform, and the program will not be quite usual for me, a real theatrical production in which the line of women's fate is the leitmotif. I have long wanted to do something on this topic, but while I was still unmarried and childless, it would look somehow strange if I suddenly started talking about the female share. And now it's natural.

- And yet you spend more time at home?
All autumn I have already painted by day, right up to the New Year. And now I try not to part with Ulyana, kiss her in all places, carry her in my arms, sleep next to me, I can’t breathe. Like many artists, I lead a seasonal lifestyle. After the New Year, there is a lull, and then I can stay with my family. In the summer, too, people are not very interested in concerts, rather in garden beds and outdoor recreation, and I have a vacation. But in spring and autumn - suffering. Therefore, while I am catching a buzz, especially since it is more comfortable to do it in nature.
- Have you been accustomed to such a schedule since childhood?
Yes, when I was born, my dad was already enough famous artist, gave solo concerts in the Kremlin, in the Hall of Columns and the State Central Concert Hall "Russia", sang Russian folk songs and romances. I often went on tour with him. She first appeared on stage at the age of three. The older sister Katerina (she was nine at the time) sat down at the piano, and I stood next to me. My uncle comes out and gives me a microphone. And it was in the 1980s, then microphones were made in frightening sizes. “No,” I say, “uncle, I won’t keep it, keep it yourself.” And here Katya plays, I sing, my uncle holds the microphone - that was my debut.
Hall I was not afraid. In addition, while studying at a music school at the conductor and choir department, I stood with my back to this very hall for seven years and did not understand at all what to be afraid of there - I did not see the audience. It was only later, when they turned me around to face the audience, I realized that there was a certain excitement, but I easily coped with it.

- Give jam?
I'm returning from a tour - as if I went to my grandmother in the village: I carry mushrooms, jam, twists in bags. Especially those people who know that I am a vegetarian try to feed them: for some reason it seems to everyone that vegetarians are always hungry, emaciated people who constantly want to eat. They give scarves and knitted socks so that I don’t freeze on my diet. And recently they began to give vests and booties. People know that I have become a mother, and they want to help in any way they can.
- Is it easy for you to be a mother?
At first it was scary, I categorically did not understand how I should take care of my daughter so as not to harm her - she is so small.
When Ulyana was just born and they gave her to me in my arms, I looked at her and thought: “Is this mine, or what?” Couldn't believe it. I had zero experience with babies, I didn’t prepare for childbirth at all, I didn’t go to courses, and therefore I was confused. “Lay on the breast, feed,” the midwife said. It's easy to say, "Feed!" There is milk, but how to pour it into a child? And I came up with an idea: I got up, hanging with the letter G over the bed in which Ulyana lay, and in this position I fed her. “And you, baby, are you going to stand like that for a long time?” - asks the entered doctor. I say: "Well, she eats, it's still normal." - “Yes, everything is clear. Will learn". She swaddled the girl, showed her arms and legs. I learned how to wash her, clean her nose, cut her nails. I also learned to feed normally, and not in the way that I myself came up with on the first day. I am very grateful for science, I would not have mastered it myself for a long time.
And, of course, life in the house has changed a lot. Now we have a little Lord in our house, her name is Ulyana. Therefore, everything and everyone around is subject to it. The whole space is organized so that it is convenient to communicate with the child - cribs, strollers, baby monitors, bottles. But we must pay tribute: Ulya does not bother us over trifles. The first month turned out to be somewhat heavy - gaziki, colic and all other "joys of life". But Lesha helped me a lot. Husband Ulyana has a second child, he is a more experienced parent. As soon as my daughter began to worry, he immediately put her on his stomach, and she calmed down. So we realized that dad's belly is a salvation from all troubles. I could keep her like that for four hours. True, the father himself then had to be scraped off the sofa and brought to his senses, but the child was pleased.

And now there are no problems with Ulyana. She is a gift. I call her "Soldier Jane" - she doesn't cry just like that. Dissatisfaction is expressed on a specific occasion: he wants to eat, or sleep, or it's time to change diapers. The rest of the time he is silent and is keenly interested in the world around him. We are friends with her. And with dad Ulya is generally a single whole, do not spill water. He is very kind and patient. You can sit on his head and try to pull out all his hair, and he will be happy and satisfied and shout: come on!
Yesterday we got out among the people, went for a walk on the Arbat, and my daughter spent the whole day in the "kangaroo", never uttering a word at all. Lesha says: “What is wrong with her? She doesn't scream. Everything is fine?" - “Yes, the child just likes it, everything around is interesting, why shout?” Ulyana charmed the whole Arbat. Even important uncles who invited their beautiful aunts to dinner and were not inclined to any sentimentality, seeing this little sausage with eyes, which turned its muzzle and looked at the lights around, involuntarily smiled at her.
- Do you often travel like this?
I am not a big supporter of such walks, Ulyana is still small. Grandma saves us. Now I can say with confidence that grandmothers are our everything. My job doesn't mean that I can be stuck on maternity leave for three years. I'm afraid to leave the baby with the nanny. So there is only one way out - grandmother.
- But you have to argue with your grandmother about the methods of education?
Well, you can't do without it, of course. We even call her: "grandmother, so as not to blow." Because she worries all the time whether Ulyana is blowing, whether she will freeze in such a light blouse. But you can understand it. Her last child (that is, me) was born in 1983. Can you imagine how far the children's industry has come in this time? Diapers, for example, appeared. In general, I think that it is high time to erect a monument to the person who invented them. Recently I told my mother: “Listen, Ulya peed twenty times today. And how did we cope if there were no diapers? “And like this,” says my mother, “twenty times they would have washed it all. Handles."
So all mom's advice is from her rich and difficult experience. And everything she does is purely out of love. Dr. Komarovsky says that the baby's feet should be cool, because this is normal. But my mother would argue with Dr. Komarovsky, because she raised two and also knows something! What is my way out? Either come to terms with the fact that mom knows best, or live in constant conflict with her. So we are learning to build relationships so that everyone in the new family is comfortable: both mom and us, and above all the child. So far it seems to work.

After graduating from school, the young talent became a student at a music college, and after receiving her diploma, she continued to improve herself by becoming a listener of the famous Gnesinka, where she moved from multifaceted education to a narrow specialization, which would later become Marina's ticket to all-Russian glory - solo folk singing.
Even during training, A. Vorobyov drew attention to a talented student and made her an offer to join his musical group "Indrik-Beast". The group specialized in the performance of old folk compositions in the current arrangement. Often the arrangement was leaning towards hard rock, which Marina, who was brought up on rock music, really liked. Marina, having joined the team, insisted on using spirit folk instruments, which further diversified the style of Indrik the Beast.
Despite the wide popularity in narrow circles and the favor of critics, they have repeatedly emphasized that the music of this direction is unformatted, so it’s not worth talking about great popularity. To this, the future folk star always answered that she would prove the prospects of a folk song and that modern processing does not spoil it in any way, but simply helps to gain popularity. The opportunity to prove her case for the singer appeared after the announcement of the selection for the 3rd season of the "People's Artist". For the entire duration of the project, there was no such case that the audience did not clap the girl while standing, and the duet singing of the composition “It could be love” brought the greatest success, where the girl was accompanied by Alexei Goman. As it was written above, the folk star became the finalist of the TV show, and at the end of it she started recording tracks that sounded on the air of the program.
Marina Devyatova - personal life
The first serious relationship of the folk singer had a rather tragic ending. The young singer fell in love with a doctor, with whom she was separated by an abyss for more than ten years. But that was not the tragedy - the beloved (by profession a doctor) could not cope with the illness that befell him and soon died, unable to overcome oncology.
The young vocalist Nikolai Demidov helped the girl to recover from sadness, but their relationship was not long, because the youngster needed only her fame from the singer for his own promotion.
Only a few years later, Devyatova met a man who made the girl happy. True, after an unsuccessful romance, she hid the name of her lover for a long time, hinting only that she no longer wants to be burned, so she chose a man very far from show business as her husband.
At the end of 2017, information appeared that Marina Devyatova was pregnant (gave birth), and although no one fully believed, her husband Alexei posted a photo with a newborn girl on Instagram.

- Marina, how has your life changed after the birth of your child?
When the first child appears, it seems to me that a woman is born again: she transforms and gets to know herself completely new. Because all his free time naturally devotes to the child. In my situation, it was not easy: I have maternity leave there was practically none, I went on stage two months later. I didn’t have less work, but my everyday life became richer. And of course, my husband and I resorted to the services of a nanny, because we simply cannot do without this person. My mother also lives with us, she helps us.
- Was the birth of a child planned or happened by chance?
It was a surprise for my husband and me. Especially for me as a workaholic. It seems to me that if this surprise had not happened, I would have toured for a long time, being in the status of a wife, not a mother. Alexei and I have known each other for a long time, our relationship was different. We met, and parted, and met again. We have probably gone through all the circles of development of relations between a man and a woman. But the birth of Ulyana changed her husband very much, despite the fact that Alexei already has a daughter from his first marriage. But when Sasha was born, he was conditionally twenty years old, and now, when he is over forty, the appearance of a child is perceived in a completely different way. They have their own relationships, their own games. But the most important thing is that they have a connection, that thread, from which I feel incredible pleasure.
- Alexei courted you for a long time?
When we met, I was a fairly mature girl. I had few boyfriends in my life, and I perceived all my young people as future potential husbands. I myself am a passionate monogamist. Aleksey is a reliable person, good, brought up in an intelligent family. Unfortunately, his mother recently passed away, who, I believe, was the best mother-in-law. This was my true friend. And therefore, I did not have a particular desire for Alexey to achieve me. He courted, as best he could, by virtue of his capabilities. We quickly started living together. Maybe somewhere they made mistakes, but at the same time I understand that we tried to avoid sharp corners.
- What is his attitude to the fact that you are a popular singer?
I always tell him: you did not marry a woman, but an artist, an audience. It’s not easy for him, he is a normal man who is also jealous of those men who want to give me flowers, hugs, kisses. But he endures all this, understands that his wife is an artist.
- In your youth, did you imagine what the man of your dreams should be like?
My husband did not agree with this idea at all. What we draw for ourselves is only fantasy. We have seen enough cartoons, good fairy tales, and now we are sitting waiting for Romeo to begin to sing serenades under the window. But I creative person, I need a knight who will come to me on a horse, win my heart. I've always been such a dreamer. And these fantasies are very disturbing. For example, sometimes it seems to me that everyone, and especially my husband, should think the same way as I do. And men are by nature practical guys. My husband says to me: well, you tell me what you need? And I: “Well, how can that be! You have to guess!" But men think differently. And ideal men, just like women, it seems to me, do not exist.
You say that you have known your husband for a long time, but when did the moment come when you realized that you were made for each other?
I don't like to talk about how people are made for each other. The strongest marriages sometimes break up. Everything happens with us: we quarrel and swear, believe me, I am a very difficult passenger in family life. Alexei is also like a real Taurus, born in the year of the Ram, generally a twice stubborn person. And as a woman leading her team, it’s also not easy for me to come home and become soft and fluffy. The family is such a penal colony in which everyone first of all works on their ego. Because we are all selfish, we want to enjoy: each other, ourselves, the environment. And first of all, of course, you need to learn to appreciate every day you live. I understand that God gave me Alexei with my qualities, and gave him a singing wife with his qualities, also very difficult. We have a good age difference, my husband is ten years older, so somewhere he is wiser, somewhere more cunning. And Alex is a good father. And the most important thing that we have is our Ulyana Alekseevna, who is growing up as a real future artist.
- So you already see it in her?
Aspen will not produce oranges. And this orange, in my opinion, I got a very creative one. As my mother says, Ulyana is my copy. She dances, her favorite artists are her mother and grandfather. And if not folk songs suddenly sound, she will not dance. She has concert dresses, she looks at my dancers at performances and repeats some of their body movements. In April, I had a concert in the Kremlin, and Ulyana appeared before the audience, absolutely calmly brought flowers to her mother, she was not afraid: 5,700 people applauded her, and she came home as if she were at home. I sang throughout my pregnancy, and Ulyana never kicked me or hit me. When the concert started from seven to nine somewhere, the child was silent, she always let me speak. And now she arranges concerts herself from seven to nine, she has her own solo program. (Laughs.)

- When there are two beautiful ladies in the family, then their dressing room is probably rather big? ..
I was born in the Soviet Union when there was nothing. We lived quite poorly, when my parents divorced, my mother began to work three jobs. All Soviet children wore the clothes of older brothers and sisters. And, apparently, now I am compensating for this deficit at the expense of Ulyana. They tell me: the child does not need so much! But I try, I work on myself. Although in defense I can say that I have someone to give what we did not even wear.
- How did your famous father Vladimir Devyatov react to the birth of his granddaughter?
My dad waited a very long time for me to become a mom. He often said: “Marina, what are you doing? These are all the songs, tours ... But who needs these awards! It is necessary to establish a personal life, get married. And when I found out that I was in a position, I was very happy. It seems to me that my father has recently changed, become softer towards me. And when Ulyashka was born - so in general. What can I say: he himself is a young father, my sister is four years old, and he knows well what children, sleepless nights, diapers are like ... We have a great relationship, we are always in touch.
- Have you thought about Ulyana having a brother or sister?
My husband and I really hope that Ulyana Alekseevna will have a brother or sister. This is very cool, because I have an older sister, Ekaterina. We are both mothers, and, of course, this seven-year difference is not felt at all, we are the best friends. It is important that you have a brother or sister, a blood brother.
- Marina, does your husband often attend concerts?
He is generally a meloman. It seems to me that if Lesha were reborn now, he would become a musician. In general, he is a master of sports in pole vaulting, all his childhood he went in for sports, but now music has become his hobby: he and Ulyashka strum on the guitar. Before meeting me, he did not understand at all what a folk song was, but now he enjoys all sorts of authentic Cossack romances like "Black Raven". When I have concerts in Moscow, he attends them with his daughter.
- There is not much information about your wedding. How did she go?
We didn’t have a wedding, we ran into the registry office - I was already in position. Painting from the series “Yesterday I arrived with Far East, and tomorrow I'm flying to Chelyabinsk. We didn’t tell anyone about this, our friends were even a little upset and offended, only in the evening they gathered their mothers and already at dinner they said that they had signed. So we didn’t have a big and chic wedding. Maybe someday we will be honored with such a story, but now it’s a little bit not up to it. Now we need to build a house. While we are renting a house, we have already realized how well we feel outside the bustle of the city. The land already exists, we bought it. By the way, this is another stage of the relationship: build a house, make repairs and manage not to get divorced with all this. (Laughs.)
- Now many are simply obsessed in a healthy way life, proper nutrition. Are you in trend?
I have been a vegetarian for fifteen years, but this is not a healthy lifestyle, but my lifestyle, primarily because of humane considerations. As for the form after childbirth, it seems to me that I still have my extra five kilograms. And it is always very difficult for me to lose weight because of the touring lifestyle. I try to control my weight, include sports in my daily life as much as possible and meet my requirements. Not always possible. I lose weight faster in volume than in kilograms, many nutritionists say that this is even better. I should feel comfortable on stage. In general, I have never been thin, and there are few thin people in our family. I try to listen to my body: if the body is good, then we live on, if not, I try to eat fractionally, drink more fluids and play sports. I just don't have time to follow diets and keep a diary.
