The sign that we use in family life. What are the symbols of love? Items in everyday life that are amulets

Amulets are necessary for every family, according to the beliefs of the Slavic peoples. They protect relatives from troubles, protect from adversity, give well-being, peace of mind.

There are many types of amulets that have different purposes. For example, for single and unmarried there are amulets that help to find a future spouse (s). There are amulets that protect the family hearth, help in maintaining warm feelings between spouses and other relatives, attract prosperity, maintain unity, etc.

Protection signs are made of wood, fabric, metals, stones or embroidered on clothes. Each of them has its own meaning and rules for its manufacture. In addition to embroidery on clothes, magical images were embroidered on tablecloths, pillowcases, duvet covers, aprons, children's toys, scarves.

Image and symbol meaning

There are several symbols of family unity:

  • The sign of Belobog will help in establishing peace in the house. In addition, it will bring financial well-being, peace, understanding and harmony.
  • Alatyr sign - means God's grace, will improve life, bring mutual understanding, sincerity and remind children to respect their elders.
  • The sign of unity is embroidered for couples. He will keep love, strengthen trust between lovers.

Who is the symbol for?

Protective embroideries for family unity are suitable for everyone. If you want peace, harmony, mutual understanding, love, material wealth, respect and warm feelings to always reign in the house, embroider amulets.

A person in most situations tries to visualize his feelings, endowing objects, jewelry, stones with certain qualities. One of the strongest feelings is love. She makes you perform feats and quietly melt with tenderness next to your loved one. Every nation has symbol of family, love and fidelity. Most couples also have them, but their own, personal. There are also generally accepted options, such as an engagement ring or bracelet, a flower, special words spoken in an undertone.

Family symbols of love

Love symbols are often used on postcards and cute souvenirs. She is served by generally accepted signs or paired objects, embodying the inviolability of the union.

Chamomile

So simple and unpretentious at first glance, it carries a significant sacred load. Many wondered on its petals, saying the cherished "loves, does not love." A delicate wild flower symbolizes pure sincere love without external effects and publicity. There is a great life-affirming energy hidden in chamomile. The white color of the petals means bright thoughts, and the golden center - the warmth of the hearth.

Symbol of unity

There are special items that carry the energy of unification for two people. On sale, of course, there are various items aimed at harmonizing relationships, but in my practice I always try to find a unique option, since each person is a small universe with its own laws and frequency of vital vibrations.

Many couples have interesting customs that they have introduced into everyday life. For example, many people drink morning coffee from paired cups. As soon as one of them breaks, they immediately throw another on the floor, saying "good luck." And then, with a smile and jokes, they immediately go for a new purchase. For them, such a ritual is a symbol of family happiness and prosperity.

Heart

It is no coincidence that this organ is considered the main indicator of the depth of feelings. It is impossible to live if there is no heartbeat, and the absence of a loved one nearby extinguishes the colors and turns every day into a simple existence. The image on postcards, valentines and gift wrappings bears little resemblance to anatomical outlines. This is an idealized image, where the symmetry of the 2 halves is important. Often it is complemented by other elements such as roses, doves or rings.

Swans

The fidelity of these birds is sung by the ancients and contemporary poets. It has long become unimportant whether this is really the case. The union of graceful birds is so harmonious that it just asks for a canvas. I often recommend hanging in the bedroom when cooling down feelings as symbol of love and fidelity drawing with a pair of swans. He will carry a double message, awakening tenderness and pointing to the cloudlessness of the course of days in caring for a partner.

pigeons

A recognized sign of peaceful intentions, care for offspring. Having built a nest, both partners feed and warm the chicks on an equal footing and there is no greater joy than watching them grow up and fly out of the nest.

Wedding rings

International sign of fixing serious intentions. In some countries, they are replaced by wedding hoops, which does not affect their essence at all. They represent infinity, unity, belonging to another, an indication of the wearer's special powers, a promise of protection and care. Many poems and songs are dedicated to the ring. As a magical item that gives the owner unlimited power, it appears in folk tales. This makes you think seriously, because “the fairy tale is a lie, but there is a hint in it ...” and in the texts quite vital tips about how to get out of different situations are often encrypted. This symbol of family love, fidelity, happiness is very important and you need to think several times over to whom and in what circumstances to give it, about which I tirelessly warn everyone who turns to me for advice.

Cupid

He is often depicted as an adorable, curly-haired toddler with a naïve look and dimpled cheeks. But he is not as harmless as it seems at first glance. Arrows strike without a miss and there is no escape from them. In ancient times, it was he, according to people, who was the cause of bitter unrequited love. To avoid negative energy, cupids are depicted in pairs, while turning to face each other.

Children

They are not only “flowers of life”, but also a guarantee of strong relationships, hope for the future, the desire to continue their branch and transmit the wisdom of their ancestors. According to beliefs, a child does not appear by chance, but only when two are ready to give him their love and tenderness.

Stork

To the naive question of the baby, where the children come from, adults laugh it off that they were brought by a stork. The bird in many cultures has become a harbinger of a happy event. At different peoples she personifies the will of higher powers, the renewal of the world, its purification from filth, the joy of motherhood, the inviolability of the walls of one's home.

Red rose

The language of flowers was especially popular in the Middle Ages, and the interpretation was very complex, depending on the time and circumstances of delivery, shade and quantity in the bouquet. Red color has always been considered passionate, unrestrained, flaming. The origins of the meaning lie in the touching legend of the love of Venus for the beautiful Adonis. He died, and on his grave, buds of the color of blood, unprecedented in beauty, opened.

Phoenix

This is the most significant a sign of family love and fidelity. Life is long, the hot passion and madness of the first months of communication is replaced by calm, measured, burning love, illuminating and warming the house, children and loved ones with its light. It is very important for a couple to regularly update relationships. And this is not a vulgar affair on the side, namely the revival of passion for a partner, the discovery of the sides of his personality, the strengthening of mutual communication. Rising from the ashes mythical creature represents a new round in the life of a couple.

Wood

A very interesting option, indicating that the creation of a married couple requires tireless care. If you plant a plant and forget about it, then it will inevitably die, leaving only a sad memory of itself. So the marriage union is a daily work, the creation of well-being brick by brick through the efforts of both. This is where the tradition began on the wedding day to plant at the house tree as a symbol of a strong family, couples, love. For this, the most commonly chosenspruce, oak, hawthorn or mountain ash. A simpler action is the joint tying of a ribbon on an already adult plant.

ancient symbols

The most valuable thing for a person is the understanding and support of someone who is nearby and ready to share all the joys and hardships. Items that protect peace and well-being were rightly called amulets. They were made independently, received from older members of the family, or followed them to people with special powers.

For such an item, a special place was allocated in the house. Depending on the purpose, he hid from prying eyes or, conversely, was placed in a prominent place to ward off anger, envy or idle gossip. Such an object could be, for example, a family coat of arms.

Powerful family symbol

For two loving hearts, it must certainly be special. Just as no two people are the same, there are no absolutely identical couples. There is no universal remedy, even the generally accepted one needs a special energy tuning and binding. For young people, I create my own, unique sign, saturated with energy, able to ward off misfortune and attract good luck, and working only for this particular couple. Often to determine the leading element help pictures of symbols of family, love and fidelity . The one that will serve as the basis, when viewed, causes warmth, a feeling of comfort and a desire to have it constantly nearby, indicating a special energy that coincides with the human biorhythm.

Of the traditional, the strongest is the Wedding, which belongs to the goddess Lada, the keeper of the hearth. It was given to young parents, it consists of 2 pairs of blue and red rings. The number 4 is sacred, like the corners of the hut, the legs of the table and symbolizes support, reliability, inviolability of relationships, protection from external influences.

Symbols in amulets

The main meaning is the union of two genera. Thus, protection is enhanced. The young couple is still defenseless against external ill-wishers. They will have to build their own fortress, but until that moment, to hide from envious glances, to keep their warmth, to attract prosperity, an individual amulet will help, in which the main. They are pigeons, a tree branch, a flower and other elements that are selected individually.

Feng Shui: signs of well-being

Paired objects, images of mandarin ducks, as well as trees become the main ones:

  • bamboo;
  • plum;
  • pine;
  • cypress.

A dragon figurine is considered a powerful amulet. It not only attracts good luck, but also guarantees reliable protection. They are placed in the southwestern part of the room. Interestingly, according to the eastern method as symbol of love and fidelity use photo all relatives in rectangular frames of blue or green, located in the eastern part of the house. It is important that they are made of wood.

Icons protecting well-being

In Slavic culture, a new icon was necessarily presented along with a parental blessing. It is desirable to have in the house the Guardian and Intercessor of the family, the image of St. Peter and Fevronia. Protection is provided by "Unfading Color". For them, the eastern wall of the room is assigned.

Items in everyday life that are amulets

Many familiar things are given an unusual meaning. For example, for stability in the house, the hostess, according to special rules, makes a grain doll and places it near the salt shaker. The choice of cereals poured into the base bag depends on what hopes are placed on it. Lovebirds made on one stick were given as a pledge of unity of thoughts and desires.

As amulets, a horseshoe is used, hanging it above the door, a chain, a piece of cloth, a figurine of a house. Bread at all times served as a guarantee of prosperity, corn was considered a protection against ailments, a cunningly tied knot averted quarrels and scandals.

wedding symbols

A wedding is usually held with a large number of guests. Not everyone is friendly and only wants the best. There is envy, and sometimes hatred. Special items are designed to protect the young and ensure their safety, combining the wishes of happiness and well-being. The most famous:

  • a pair of doves released into the sky;
  • wedding rings that bind lovers together;
  • a veil as an additional protection for the bride;
  • a loaf baked according to the rules by a close relative or mother;
  • embroidered towel with certain patterns;
  • icons.

To enhance protection, you can make an individual amulet for the bride and groom before the celebration.

Symbols in different countries

Despite their diversity, they have common feature- emphasize purity, sublimity and inviolability of feelings. These signs are:

  • Russia - chamomile;
  • China - mandarin ducks, peonies, mandarin tree;
  • India - jasmine, red parrots;
  • Egypt and Rome are gems;
  • Iran - blossoming olive or apple tree.

The symbolism of the family in the culture of the Indians

Ancient civilizations had their own ideas about many events, but they felt and loved the same way as we do. The signs were geometric images of natural phenomena, animals, birds, and plants schematically drawn or made of wood. Related drawings were in a circle, separating the group from the general. With the help of the size and location of the figures, an idea was given of the degree of relationship, gender and age. The wigwam was considered united, denoting the unity of children and adults under one roof.

Slavic signs

The worship of the forces of nature was reflected in the Slavic culture, where they helped to protect the young:

  • Solard, the leading turn in the sun, signifying prosperity and prosperity;
  • Kolard, which was created in a mirror image, bestowed health, strengthened the union;
  • Ladinets was considered female, and Kolyadnik male, giving strong mutual understanding when united;
  • The bunny was attached to the woman's belt while waiting for the baby, sharing his solar creative energy.

Amulets were considered generic, often passed on to the eldest in the family. If these are not preserved or you want to get a unique sign, then you should turn to people with bright creative power. Each person gets their own object, combining generic and containing new elements corresponding to a young couple. It must be remembered that such amulets cannot be shown even to the closest ones, and it is also not worth mentioning them in a conversation.

Stones that are a symbol of happiness

Jewel crystals are able to remember, store and accumulate energy. Semi-precious and some ornamental stones are also suitable for this purpose. These include beryl, which is a special sign. Transparent light aquamarine keeps marital happiness. Carnelian removes evil spells and words spoken in the hearts. Sapphire speaks of the threat, changing color and sometimes taking a hit, splitting. For different couples, pearls, emerald, moonstone, rock crystal, turquoise can be suitable as a talisman. The most powerful gift stone. He warns the owners, changing the temperature, the degree of transparency, becoming heavier.

Day of Family, Love and Fidelity

It falls on July 8th. At first, it was celebrated only within the framework of Orthodox dates, but soon it crossed the borders and became popular. Peter and Fevronia of Murom are considered his saints, and a camomile is a symbol.

I am sure that this day is just an occasion to focus on values, and you need to take care and protect your soul mate tirelessly, regardless of the time of year.

Symbol of family happiness and prosperity

Choosing a sign of protection of marital happiness, you need to be guided by personal feelings. It should not cause rejection, be equally perceived by a man and a woman, and also combine several elements. Not everyone can be entrusted with such an important matter as its creation.

As the cynics say, you won't be full of love alone. This also applies to the home. In addition to passionate words and hugs, you will need mutual respect, care, sensitivity to the thoughts and desires of the second half, a willingness to give in and find a compromise in a difficult situation. I always take these aspects into account when working, otherwise the item will remain a mere decoration, from which there will be no use. Over time, with the help of the amulet, its own special aura of warmth and well-being will begin to form, which will help carry love through the years, remaining close and dear, living in one breath for two.

The coat of arms of a family is a set of heraldic symbols that embody the main features of a particular family clan. The family coat of arms used to be a privilege of the nobility, but now it is designed to highlight the family, unite all its members, become a strong link for generations and the main relic and value of the clan.

The coat of arms can be ordered from specialists, or you can create it on your own, involving children and adult family members in this process. Such a joint lesson will help relatives express love for each other without further ado, and will have a beneficial effect on the development of the child. Thanks to the development of a family coat of arms with children, patriotic feelings will be brought up in the younger generation, knowledge about heraldry in general and its features will appear, vocabulary will be enriched and there will be an opportunity to show imagination, participate on an equal basis with adults in creating a family heirloom. The benefit of such an exciting pastime is also in a deep study of family history, collecting information about the life of ancestors.

The content of the article:
  • Stages of creating a family coat of arms

    First you need to offer the child a choice of the form of the future family coat of arms. It can be any geometric figure. It is important that a shield can be entered into it, which is the basis of any coat of arms. Shields are triangular, oval, square with rounded corners below, figured or in the form of a quadrangle pointed at the top. Whatman paper and even cardboard from boxes, thick colored paper are suitable as a material for making relics.

    Next, you need to ask the child to describe in separate words the emotions, impressions that thoughts about the family evoke in him. In the future, you should try to dress them in the form of heraldic symbols, lay them in the basis of the motto. The next step will be dividing the coat of arms field into sectors, choosing colors and selecting elements that will be present on the emblem. A special meaning can be attached to the division of the shield into segments - to give different members of the family their own pieces of the coat of arms and offer to fill them with symbols on their own.

    The final stage is the drafting of the motto. To do this, you can take a catchphrase that accurately and succinctly characterizes the family, or you can come up with your own. The main thing is that the chosen phrase not only describes the genus, but also gives advice, setting the right direction for development for all subsequent generations.

    Meanings of colors in heraldry

    For the color design of family coats of arms, it is customary to use two metallic shades and five main enamels. From metals, preference is given to gold and silver, from enamels - blue tones, red, black, green and purple.

    Each color carries a certain message:

    • red is identified with courage and passion;
    • blue denotes beauty, grandeur and clarity;
    • green is used to represent freedom, abundance and hope;
    • purple always symbolizes power;
    • black can mean both sadness with modesty and constancy;
    • silver elements testify to nobility, purity and modesty;
    • gold represents generosity.

    What symbols can be depicted on the family coat of arms?

    The central part of the coat of arms should be occupied by a shield, above which rises a helmet with a crest. The color of the helmet symbolizes the social status of the clan, the degree of its nobility. Thus, gold is chosen by those who belong to noble family, and silver can be used by all other representatives of social strata. As a crest, you can take feathers, wings, horns, any headdress, flag. An unusual version of the crest is the richly decorated first letter of the surname. It is important that the helmet and crest are in the same color scheme and point in the same direction.

    On the sides of the shield are depicted figures of animals that hold it. Each animal is also collectively, and therefore you should choose them, having previously familiarized yourself with the symbolism of the figure. Instead of animals, you can depict birds, plants or interlacing hands. The shield, covered with a mantle, personifies the protection of the family from everything bad. A tent-shaped mantle may indicate the presence of any special merits to the native state. To enhance the significance, this element is decorated with furs or gold ribbons.

    Under the shield, it is necessary to depict a stable platform, the basis of the clan. It can be played by a hill, a pedestal of marble or ice, a block of stone, or a waving ribbon with the motto of the family. The main colors of the coat of arms should be traced in the design of the ribbon with all letters. A cross is sometimes depicted on the shield itself.

    Perhaps, to create your family coat of arms, you will need the following graphic symbols of the family (images enlarge when clicked):

    Symbolism of heraldic figures

    Lions denote courage, strength, a combination of anger and generosity, unicorns testify to invincibility, and wild boars testify to fearlessness. Vigilance with caution can be conveyed through a crane, and a horse will help to tell others about courage and speed. Images of vultures, which carry ferocity and fearlessness, independent cats and warlike roosters, have a special power. The presence of a wolf on the coat of arms gives the emblem a negative color, as this figure symbolizes anger and greed. Beautiful peacocks speak of boasting.

    What do floral ornaments mean? Lilies are intended to display the period of prosperity and success, roses testify to the spiritual purity of family members, their holiness. The olive tree charges the coat of arms with the energy of peaceful life, the laurel branch will tell about valiant victories, and the oak will tell about the great strength of the family.

    The sun symbolizes the warmth and wisdom of generations and readiness for war, the bees - diligence and tirelessness, the ax - consciousness. The participation of a child in the process of developing the coat of arms creates a special atmosphere of love, makes each stage exciting and funny, full of vivid impressions. Give your loved ones a lot of positive emotions, make a family coat of arms with them!

    NATA CARLIN

    Many consider love to be a kind of chemistry that arises in the souls of those who are in love. Others believe that love is an inexplicable, strange and mysterious phenomenon that defies logic. As a result, both of them are right.

    Love has no explanation, but there are symbols in the world that are used to explain these feelings. Among them are the following:

    hearts;
    A pair of doves or swans;
    Cupids;
    Red roses;
    Interlaced rings;
    Sakura branch, etc.

    Each of these characters can be described in more detail.

    Symbols of love and family

    Representatives of the flora as symbols of love.

    Flowers at all times were considered amazing creatures from the world of flora.

    In every nationality, love symbolizes its own flower:

    In China - peony;
    In India, a branch of jasmine;
    In Iran, branches of an olive or apple tree.

    The following breeds of seedlings are especially often chosen by newlyweds:

    Rowan and viburnum;
    Oak and hawthorn;
    Pine and spruce.

    Birds as a symbol of love.

    Why swans are chosen as a symbol of love is understandable. These are beautiful, huge birds that once in a lifetime choose a partner and remain faithful to him until his death. They even die together. If one of the family dies, the second soars up and throws a stone to the ground. It breaks because it cannot imagine its existence without a partner. In addition, a pair of swans are quivering spouses who are always there, they tenderly care for each other, and pay special attention to offspring.

    A popular symbol all over the world is doves. Their love for a partner also knows no bounds. They create couples for life, and remain faithful to their partner even after his death.

    These birds represent platonic, pure love between young partners.

    Another representative of birds, which are a symbol of love, is considered a mythical creature - a phoenix. In the mythology of different peoples, it is called differently, but everywhere it symbolizes happiness, glory, immortality and the infinity of love. The legend says that one day a bird born of the Sun flew to Earth. She was so beautiful that the stars dimmed from her radiance and greeted her arrival with a friendly round dance. In those places where this fabulous bird appeared, wars stopped, strife subsided. Love, friendship and mutual understanding were reborn in the hearts of people. With light and warmth, this fabulous creature melted the ice that arose in the hearts of people.

    The heart is a symbol of love that came to us from antiquity.

    Since ancient times, a red heart has been considered a symbol of love relationships. Where does this symbolism come from? The heart is the main human organ that gives life. It knows how to “freeze” and “fight furiously” at moments of special experiences. If, his brain fails, and "he thinks with his heart." In addition, the human cardiovascular system is a vicious circle that symbolizes the infinity of love. Other symbols of love are often complemented by a heart symbol to complete the picture. For example, in the gracefully intertwined necks of white swans, the image of a heart is guessed.

    Wedding rings as a symbol of eternal love.

    The true meaning given comes from understanding the word infinity. The shape of the circle implies an endless flow of time, the continuous run of which no one can stop. So the love of two people connecting their hearts with wedding rings is endless and unshakable, like time. Exchanging wedding rings, the newlyweds swear allegiance to each other. This attribute of mutual love on the ring finger will always remind them of passionate youthful love.

    Feng shui symbols of love.

    Each house has its own symbols of love. They are considered the main ones in the teachings of Feng Shui. They carry associative information about the time when the owners of the house fell in love, the development and formation of their marital relations, joint life and relationships with relatives and friends. These can be the following items:

    Figurines and photographs;
    Figures in the form of hearts or swans, doves, etc.

    In China, the bird that is considered a symbol of love is the mandarin duck. These charming unforgettable birds also make pairs for life. According to legend, the Chinese ruler, about to part with his wife, walked along the shore of a beautiful pond. His attention was attracted by two mandarin ducks, which gently cleaned each other's feathers, wrapped their necks around their partner and quacked peacefully. Looking at the birds, the man remembered the caresses that he and his wife gave each other in their youth, their hot nights and passionate kisses. The couple's relationship was saved, and the ducks remained a symbol of love and fidelity.

    Get a couple of ducks and place them in the southwest of any room. It is desirable that this be a matrimonial bedroom.

    The Chinese begin to invite love into the house from the bedroom. As a rule, this is the place where the love energy of the spouses is focused. So that nothing prevents it from flowing freely and multiplying, put things in order in this room. Free her from all unnecessary things, leave only those that are necessary. Divide the entire space into female and male halves. For example, a wardrobe should have the same amount of space for women's and men's clothes. Separately arrange your books and CDs and men on the shelves. Don't keep photos or things that remind you of past relationships.

    Why do people use symbols of love

    And sounds can say a lot about your love. However, how to do this if you do not see a person, you do not have the opportunity to touch him and feel the warmth of his body? That's what symbols of love are for. So that your loved one does not forget you even in a long separation, give him a heart-shaped pillow. Long, lonely nights apart, this symbol of your love will brighten up him. Falling asleep and waking up next to a piece of your heart, he will know that you love him and are waiting for him.

    How to tell the whole world about your love? Screaming on every corner or putting up ads? Newlyweds found ways easier. They fasten the rings on the roof of the wedding car, surround themselves with white doves and hearts.

    The most important symbol of love for a married couple is children. What can be better said about the love between parents than happy and healthy little ones? They personify the atmosphere that prevails in the family, the relationship of elders and happiness. The symbol of a happy event in the family - the birth of a child - is a stork. Many times we have seen the image of this bird, which carries to mothers and fathers in its beak a diaper in which a happy baby is wrapped. At the same time, the bird is depicted against the background of a blue cloudless sky, a bright sun.

    What could be more beautiful than children playing peacefully in the sandbox or a baby in a stroller? This is the symbol of real, true love. This is the culmination of the relationship between a man and a woman.

    By the way, in the teachings of Feng Shui, the place of the stork is occupied by goldfish. The Chinese revere these slow and beautiful animals as wise patrons of the family hearth and mentors in the knowledge of happiness. For them, the fish symbolize comfort, measured flow. family life, love relationship between spouses and the birth of children.

    Information block:

    How nice it is to be close to loved ones! What do you think the word "family" means?

    When did the word "family" appear?

    Once upon a time, the Earth had not heard of him.

    But Adam said to Eve before the wedding:

    Now I will ask you seven questions:

    Who will give birth to children for me, my goddess?

    And Eva quietly answered "I".

    Who will bring them up, my queen?

    And Eve dutifully answered: "I am."

    Who will prepare the food, O my joy?

    And Eve still answered "I".

    Who will sew the dress, wash the linen,

    Caress me, decorate the house?

    She said the famous seven "I".

    This is how the “family” appeared on earth.

    People say: "Happy is he who is happy at home."

    Today we will talk about what is the basis that makes up the happiness of the family.

    There is such a parable.

    God settled the woman and the man in the field, taught how to build a hut, gave the man a shovel, and the woman a handful of grain: “Live and continue the human race! I'll come back in a year and see how it is with you." The next year, God comes early in the morning, at sunrise, he sees a man and a woman sitting near a hut, bread ripens in a field in front of them, next to them is a cradle, and in it is a child. And a man and a woman look either into the scarlet sky, or into each other's eyes. In those moments when their eyes met, God saw in them some unknown power, a beauty incomprehensible to him. This beauty was more beautiful than the sky and the sun, the earth and the wheat field, more beautiful than anything that God blinded and made. This beauty so shocked, surprised, stunned God that he said: “How so! I molded a man out of clay and breathed life into him, but I could not create such beauty. Where did she come from and what is beauty? This is Love. It was she who connected your destinies into one. This is Love. She gave life to your children. And it is thanks to love that you have created a healthy, strong, friendly family. That's what happiness is."
