We put a pot of water on a strong fire, put a colander or a metal sieve on the rim. Cover with a suitable size lid. While the water is boiling, prepare the potato tubers. Peel off the skin, cut in half. With a teaspoon with a sharp spout, make a recess in the potato half to make a boat. We will cut the bottom a little for stability. So prepare the right amount of potatoes. The pulp that was cut out can be added to the minced meat (half) or it can be steamed and mashed with butter or sour cream.
