This is one of my favorite dishes. I warn you, men are unlikely to like it - the majority of them are big conservatives, but girls are just fine. These stuffed apples contain aroma, taste, sweetness, sourness, and again, me-ya-ya-so. In general, I cook for myself quite often, and I advise you to do the same.

How to bake stuffed apples in the oven

Cut the onion into cubes, grate the carrots on a coarse grater and fry in vegetable oil. Mix minced meat, cooked rice, salt and pepper. Wash the apples and cut out the middle. I usually cut out half - I like it when there are more apples and not more filling.

Fill the apples with the stuffing using a coffee spoon, place all the stuffed apples on the bottom of the mold, pour a little oil and water into it and cover with a lid.

I experimented with the filling for a long time, and came to the conclusion that there is nothing tastier than the combination of sour apples with tender chicken fillet. And as you guessed, this is exactly the filling we will prepare. To do this, we buy chicken fillet at the market (frozen, fresh - whatever you can find). I couldn't find fresh meat, so I bought frozen meat and immediately set it to defrost at room temperature. After that, wash it well under cold water, then transfer it to a saucepan, fill it with cold water and send it to cook over medium heat. within 20 minutes. It is not necessary to cover with a lid. But when the foam rises, slightly reduce the heat and remove it with a slotted spoon. Lightly salt the fillet and continue cooking until it is completely cooked.

Step 2: Prepare the filling.

Cool the finished meat and cut into small pieces. Place the butter in a saucepan and let it simmer over medium heat. Then add wheat flour and mix thoroughly. Then pour in the milk, reduce the heat and, stirring constantly, bring the mixture to a boil. Salt and pepper to taste and cook until our sauce thickens. As soon as the consistency resembles liquid sour cream, add the fillet to the pan, mix and remove from the heat.

Step 3: Prepare stuffed apples.

Set the oven to preheat to temperature 180 degrees. While the filling is cooling, prepare the apples. So, first of all, wash them well under cold running water, and then cut off the top and remove the core with the seeds. At the same time, the thickness of the apple walls should not exceed 0.5 cm. Since I was preparing apples for the holiday table, I decided to decorate them a little. And to do this, I simply made the edges zigzag (using a sharp knife). Now we stuff each apple with the filling and place them in a baking dish, and put a small piece of butter on top. And put it in the oven to bake for 30-40 minutes.

Step 4: Serve the stuffed apples.

Ready-made, aromatic apples can be served immediately by transferring them to a serving dish. Bon appetit!

About 10 minutes before the end of cooking, you can sprinkle the apples with grated cheese.
