In addition, a significant reduction in the volume of the registry allows you to get it defragmentation. Similar to computer hard drives, registry fragmentation slows down the system. Defragmentation programs compress the Windows registry by removing empty blocks of data and repairing structural defects. The result is a compact and well-organized registry that consumes fewer system resources and takes less time to process application and operating system requests.
