The cereal does not have a pronounced taste, it swells well, does not interrupt the cottage cheese, does not allow it to spread, and helps maintain the shape of the dumplings.

  • 350 g cottage cheese 9%;
  • 45 g semolina;
  • medium-sized chicken egg;
  • 35 g sweet cream butter 72%;
  • 2 tbsp. l. granulated sugar;
  • 4 tbsp. l. any flour.

How to cook classic lazy dumplings

If you want to make dumplings according to all the rules, then wipe the cottage cheese. If you don’t have time for this, and the dish itself is lazy, then simply mix the product with egg, sand, and semolina. Add a spoonful of oil.

We wait about fifteen minutes, then add flour until the dough forms. Dumplings are formed in a simplified lazy way, from which the name comes. Just roll out the sausage and cut it crosswise into approximately equal pieces.

Cooking is also simple and quick. Throw the pieces into boiling water and stir so they don’t stick together. After boiling (pieces will float), wait two minutes. We catch it in a bowl, pour over the oil that we have left.

If the fat content of the cottage cheese is not of great importance, then its moisture content greatly affects the consistency of the dough. You will have to add more flour to a weak product, which will spoil the taste. It makes more sense to express the whey first. Curd dough is prepared in the usual way. Combine cottage cheese with cereal and add sugar and salt. Grind everything together, add one large egg. Let it sit, then add flour. We determine its quantity ourselves.

While the dough is standing, remove the seeds from the berries. If the cherries are frozen, then let them thaw completely. Otherwise there will be too much juice.
